Parking and check-in start at 6:00pm - Caroling at 7:00pm - Event concludes at 8pm
We will attempt the record whether it may rain or snow (see below about cancellation).
What to bring:
Compo Beach is located at 60 Compo Beach Road in Westport CT.
Directions heading north or south off I-95 are supplied on your ticket receipt.
Please Eat Before Caroling: In order to count towards the record we have to check you in at both start and finish so we don't want to have anyone leave because their hungry and miss out.
What to expect: Parking will open as early a 6:00pm along with our check-in booths. You'll bring your registration print-outs and check-in is separated alphabetically. You'll receive your One Voice numbered world record bib so we can keep track of how many people will be setting the record. There will be FREE hot chocolate and cider compliments of Stop & Shop while you await instructions from our One Voice music director. Caroling is estimated to start by 7:15pm. The half mile route is estimated to take no more than 40 minutes. Everyone must check back in after completion so that the Guinness World Records can verify the record.
IN CASE OF SEVERE WEATHER!
Our caroling is planned regardless of rain or light snow. If the forecast calls for severe weather, you will be notified by email plus this site will let you know that this event has been postponed. If this is the case, One Voice will be rescheduled for the following Weds, Dec. 19th. If the revised date is also problematic, we may try again for the week between Christmas and New Years - in any case, your donations will be considered just that and no-refunds will be offered. Your receipt will served as an official tax deductible document.
NO SHOWS: If by chance you cannot attend, forget or just don't show up - you cannot be counted towards the world record and we thank you for your donation as no refunds will be given.
